The company earned major two titles for its sustainable practices and the success of its proudly homegrown Sip beverage lines.
PACIFIC SYNERGY FOOD AND BEVERAGE CORP. secured two distinctions at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025: Eco-Friendly Initiative of the Year - Philippines and Home Brand of the Year - Philippines.
The honours recognise measurable outcomes in sustainability and the steady rise of its locally developed beverage lines, Sip Purified Water and Sip Plus Electrolyte Drink.
Championing sustainability through Sip Purified Water
PACIFIC SYNERGY FOOD AND BEVERAGE CORP. received the Eco-Friendly Initiative of the Year - Philippines award for Sip Purified Water. The brand applies a structured sustainability framework across production and distribution, prioritising waste reduction and renewable energy use.
In partnership with PlasticBank, it recovered 420,000 kilogrammes of rigid plastic between January and December 2024. The material was repurposed for new uses, diverting waste from oceans and landfills whilst generating income for community collectors.
The company also worked with Union Solar to incorporate renewable energy into its facilities. The initiative cut 184,099.21 kilogrammes of CO₂ emissions, saved 104,460.79 kilogrammes of coal, and reduced diesel consumption by 103,426.52 litres, a benefit comparable to planting 11,860.84 trees.
From November 2024 to February 2025, Pacific Synergy collaborated with ACEN to obtain renewable electricity, further avoiding 943 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. Together, these figures reflect a consistent, data-driven approach to lessening environmental impact across its operations in the Philippines.
Redefining Filipino excellence through Sip Plus
The Home Brand of the Year - Philippines award recognised Sip Plus Electrolyte Drink, the new electrolyte beverage developed in the Philippines. Introduced in May 2024, it achieved notable growth through the “Elevate Your Next” campaign led by world champion gymnast Carlos Yulo. His involvement aligned with the brand’s emphasis on performance and precision, strengthening its market visibility.
The campaign recorded over two million video views and a 217% rise in sales in August 2025 versus the previous year. It combined digital outreach with on-ground executions, including out-of-home placements and transport advertising across major cities. The results demonstrated strong demand for a locally formulated alternative in a category long dominated by global brands.
